Body Ready Method for Postpartum
Postpartum is not about ramping up and returning to pre-pregnancy as fast as possible. Just because we get a certain amount of time away from birth does not mean that we are no longer postpartum. Doctors will tell you that after 6 weeks you should be "all back to normal." This is just not true nor is it realistic after your body spent 9 months changing to grow a baby.
BRM has a a postpartum movement program to help you recover at a more realistic pace considering your unique factors.

Massage Therapy for Postpartum
So much of your pregnancy and labor and birth were about this new little one you were bringing into the world. Now it's all about you, mamma! Come and indulge, heal, and relax from the work that you've done for the past 9 + months. Take care of you - feel like yourself again - allow someone to care and nurture you - ease into the transition of motherhood.
Please know that I understand many new babies are not on a schedule as of yet so your newborn is always welcome. I can adjust your massage to side-lying should baby need to nurse during your massage or just needs to cuddle close to you during. If you choose and barring time, I can step out of the room while you breastfeed as well. Just give me a heads up when you plan on bringing baby so I can set aside more time.
